Join us at the Statehouse on December 7


All Choir members and Alumni are invited to sing at the Holiday Festival and Tree Lighting at the Ohio Statehouse on Thursday, December 7, 2017.  We will be meeting at 4:15 p.m. and will sing a few selections in the atrium in the midst of the approximately 2,000 people that attend this event each year.  After singing, you, your family and friends are invited to remain and enjoy the festivities.  No meal is provided, but refreshements, including Starbucks coffee, are provided by our hosts.

What to Wear


Solid white, long-sleeved shirt, tucked in
White undershirt
Solid black pants/slacks/skirt
Black shoes/socks (or nude/black nylons)
Black belt (for pants with belt loops)
Optional red accesory (scarf, tie, etc.)


We will meet for warm-up and rehearsal at 4:15 p.m. in Room 115.  We realize that 4:15 is early for many driving significant distances, but please arrive no later than 4:45 p.m.
We will perform in the Statehouse Atrium at 5:45 p.m.  Please download and print the repertoire files on this page and bring them with you to the event.  A limited number of extra copies may be available.  We will be performing between 15 and 20 minutes.

Repertoire Download


The repertoire we will perform on December 7 will be selected from the following.  We have been invited to perform only 20 minutes of music.  During our rehearsal time, we will determine which pieces are ready for an audience.  Please take a look at these before December 7 - recordings have also been provided for some of the pieces to get them in your ear.  Also, please print these files and bring them with you to the Holiday Festival with a black folder.  Only a limited number of extra copies will be available on site.
